Over the past week we have received many complaints about changing our whole website at the most important time of the year... as we are nearing playoffs, and this is a valid complaint.

However, the fact of the matter is that it was not our choice. Because it is playoff season, the traffic on the site was over 10,000 visitors a day and the company hosting our site decided that we were too big for their server, and without notice they limited us to 20 people an hour allowed to connect. (We average 20 people a minute, forget about an hour)

So our site went crashing down. THE PROBLEM THIS YEAR IS THAT WE MOVED TO A NEW TECHNOLOGY thinking this would make the experience better for our users, and at first it was great, but that technology cannot handle the volume that we produce so we had to re-write the site from the ground up when we made the change. AND WE WILL STAY WITH THE TRUSTED AND TRUE WEBSITE IN THE FUTURE AS WELL.

We appologize for the problems this might have caused in the past week. BUT DURING THE WEEK, the schedules were only not available for a total of 16 hours, and the Standings were offline for 3 days. I KNOW THAT THIS IS A CRITICAL TIME OF THE YEAR, but with 10,000 visitors a day there was nothing we could do to avoid it, and we have been running this for 10 years and never had this problem before.

We have learned from it and will continue to improve. The STANDINGS will be back up sortable and the Score Entry will be working soon. We HAVE TO PROGRAM AROUND INTERNET EXPLORER... but it can be done and it will be done.
